Woo-hoo!! I am blogging for the 2nd day in a row!!! Go Me!!

So, here I am again. Two days in a row. Pat me on my back!!! Give me a star!!! Give me a job!!

Well, I love the show, Friends. Love it. Have most episodes memorized. In fact, I'm watching an episode now. I love syndication. I was bummed when it went off the air last year, but to tell you the truth, it should've ended after Monica and Chandler got married. Think about it...

1) Ross got more and more annoying as the series went on. He had some few good moments of not being sad and annoying to watch. Monica and Chandler's wedding would've been a nice clean cut for that to end.

2) They introduced the baby storyline with Rachel. They built up the whole pregnancy and then when Emma was born, we hardly saw her or heard about her. What's up with that? Didn't they learn anything from Ben?

3) They were originally going to end the series after the 9th season, so after they agreed to have the 10th season, the actors already had movie deals and other obligations lined up so season 10 was cut short to I think 18 episodes or something to accomodate those schedules. They scrambled for storylines, and it showed. Sure, Monica and Chandler adopting and then buying a house is a nice storyline, and in keeping with the demographcs of those watching, but seemed rushed. It was also nice that Phoebe got married, but also rushed. Ross was so damn annoying, especially the last few episodes after Rachel got the job in Paris.

4) Joey. I actually do like that show. I do. I'm glad he got his own tv show. It's nice to have his character live on. And I don't need any of the former Friends cast members to guest star. It's holding up fine on its own. Actually, I don't know if I would've been ready to see him in his show prior to this year. So, the timing was great.

I also like Golden Girls. I have most of those episodes memorized too. Although, I don't know if I would actually get the DVD series. I am quite content watching the reruns on Lifetime TV. I think Golden Girls is one of the few old shows about all women that has been acceptable for men and women to watch and enjoy. Am I wrong? I knew a guy in college who liked that show, and I catch my husband enjoying the show if I'm watching it. Someone can always find a character to relate to, or just really enjoy watching.
