Up late...
Couldn't sleep. I slept all day because of my sinuses and cramps. I hate when they collide!! So, since I had a whole day of sleeping, I'm up at 1:30am. It so sucks. I am tired, but can't fall asleep.Kudos to Elaine for being the only one so far to respond to my scrapbooking exercise!!! It's been almost 2 weeks, and you responded within the first day!!!!I thought more people would respond. OR , if nothing else, you'd think my own MOTHER would respond!! Hubby says he's working on it. I see he printed it out. Amanda has been working between Indy and Fort Wayne, and in the process of moving...I'll cut her some slack...for now.
I'm rereading the Harry Potter books now. I've seen the movies so much since I last read the books, that I forgot just how much information they leave out! I love the series though!!! It's so fascinating how well J.K. Rowling can write and in a way to make you want more. To give just enough information for the story, but leave enough out to create the mystery behind a plot or character. I can't remember a series of books that just grabbed me like this one! I mean, back in middle school I LOVED The Babysitters Club books, and would read a book the day I brought it home from the store, and then ask my mom to take me out again to buy another one. But, the Harry Potter books just grab me on another level. They have mystery and imagination. I LOVE that! And I've always wanted magical powers since the first time I watched Bewitched!!! Why won't anything happen when *I* twinkle my nose like that??? If it wasn't so scary for little kids, I'd say I would decorate my nursery in witches and wizards from the series. I mean, when a baby is crying, do you really want them to get even MORE freaked out if they see a dark cloaked wizard on their bedroom wall??

ITA about the books thing (although I haven't read Harry Potter yet). I don't think you buy Babysitters Club books, you just rent them. It's like Slurpees, that way.
Thank you for the support re: Dog 3. I am not sure how to tell her tht it's a no go. I hate giving bad news. I think I may just tell her that we've decided not to get a third right now and give her a card for the rescue group Scooby and Bettty are from.
