After everything, I'm still here.

I'm here...

I've just been busy.
Had another unfortunate loss in my life. Not only did my friend, Melissa, lose her grandmother 2 months ago, she also lost her mother almost 2 weeks ago. So, I had another impromptu trip to Indianapolis to attend her funeral. Still trying to recoup from the late night drive to Indiana and turn around in less than 24 hours to come home earlier this week.
The experience has made me really reflect and think about life, death, and other things. I was very thankful that my husband and mom came with me to the funeral. I really appreciated that.

But enough of that sorrowful reflection...

I have yet to buy Christmas presents for a lot of people. I bought my mom something, I know the last thing we're getting my niece, but as for anyone else I don't know. I have an idea for hubby. No ideas for my brother, but my hubby does, so hun, go ahead and get the framed print. =) Just let me know how much it is. I don't know what to get my sister-in-law. Last year I got her scrapbooking stuff, but I don't know what to get her this year. I also have no idea what to get my best friends. Elaine-can we go back to the birthday exchange?? =) I could use the extra time to recoup money and clear thinking. =)
