Tests
I'm lucky if I get a C on that Geography test. In fact, considering I was absent for the last day of notes, I'll be surprised if I get a C.However, I did receive my math test back today. And, sorry to say, my average for the class went down as a result. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. I mean, I had a lot to live up to from the first quarter, I mean, 99% is definitely a lot to start out at. So, when I got my test back and I received a 97%, my average went down to a 98%. Ughhh....what did I do? What should I have done? Questions questions... =) heehee
Anyways, my children's lit class midterm is a week from today. I need to buckle down for that over the weekend. Tomorrow, I will study my ass off for the Econ test on Thursday. Then, I will correct my errors for my paper for lit, and then read the rest of the novel for Thursday's lit class. So much to do. So much...I also have my lesson plan to start and finish.
In addition to the marvels of the world of academia, I took Ayana to the vet today. $311 later, she better have the best damn dog skin and flea free body ever known to any animal on earth!! Blood tests, urine tests, antibiotics, flea control, allergy meds, etc... Damn, I really must love this dog! It is so expensive to own a dog, as many of you know, but also very rewarding. I guess it's my mini-introduction to parenthood. I'm thinking, 3-5 more years isn't that long of a wait anymore... It takes 2 incomes to afford a dog, I can't imagine how much it will be to afford a child.
We're having issues with her being alone now. Now that hubby and I are working and going to school, she's home alone after months of having us both home. So, she is getting into things like the garbage in our bedroom and whatever food items are on the kitchen counter she can reach. It's like we have to start child-proofing our house now. So, needless to say, we are crating her until further notice. Which I don't like to do, but she's seems okay with it and she doesn't bark in the cage anymore. The first month we had her she would whine and bark. She now goes into the cage on her own and waits for her treat. She just looks so VERY pathetic while in the cage. She definitely knows how to work our emotional strings. Damn bitch.
