After everything, I'm still here.

Dear Santa,
While I lay in bed hacking up my lungs and blowing my nose like nobody's business because of my viral infection, I have had time to ponder more material items I wish to beg for in celebration of the birth of Christ.

I would like to add some books to my list after being introduced to them in my children's literature class. I figured that I've renewed them enough from the library, that maybe they belong in my permanent collection.

"The Giver" by Lois Lowry
"Gathering Blue" by Lois Lowry
"The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs!" by Jon Scieszka

I'm sure there will be more on the list before the semester is over. But, I will show some restraint.

P.S. Who told the retailers that it was okay to start selling Christmas stuff before we even start Halloween?? I mean, Christmas stuff was on shelves around Labor Day!! If you could talk to the retailers and just ask them to hold out until at least after Halloween, that would be much appreciated. I mean, it's not even sale priced!! And no one decorates for Christmas until at least November anyways!! It's just annoying.
