That feeling...
You know that feeling when you are lying in bed, half awake, half asleep, listening to the sounds of nature out of your window. So, peaceful. Then you hear the "tap, tap, tap" of rain falling on your window awnings. Then you realize, "Dammit! that's why my head hurts so much!! My sinuses are acting up because it's raining!!" And then you're jolted out of bed because you need medicine and water to dull the pain? Yes, that's how I got here this morning. It's 5:23 a.m. in Michigan, and my head hurts. And it's humid and stuffy in the house. Windows are open, but then it gets too cold if I open them more. Ugh!!Anyways, I found out yesterday that one of my best friends from high school is getting married in October!!!!! I'm so excited for her! Of course, I didn't find out from her. I found out from one of my other friends, who found out from her husband, whose brother talks with the friend on a more regular schedule. So, as soon as I found out, I called the engaged friend to find out the 411. I'm so happy for her. =) She's getting married a week before she turns 30, so I teased her about making sure she got married before the birthday calendar showed the "30" mark. =) So, now I'll have to save up for a trip to Idaho in the fall. =) Idaho in October, and Florida in December...Geez...I've got a lot going on. And I'm taking classes in the fall too! (Assuming I get my butt in gear in apply to grad school soon...taking care of prereqs only now).
