update

Well, quick update.
Started a new semester at a new school this past week. It seems like it'll go okay. LOTS of work in the young adult literature class. Found out it is actually a masters level class. I'm not in the program yet, but this is a prerequisite for my teaching license. PREREQ!!! A friggin' masters level class as a prereq. Go figure!

Anyways, got my financial aid award letter. Whoohoo!!!! I can afford to actually keep attending this semester!! Go me! Of course I have to pay it back, but Whoo-hoo!!

Got the fabric for my future niece or nephew's nursery set that I'm going to make. I'm so ambitious. I think it's going to be a boy. That's my bet. Victoria wants a sister and hubby wants another niece. But I'm thinking boy. Hell, better them than me!! I want a girl eventually. It'd be nice to have a boy in the family as long as I'm not the one giving birth to it. The fabric I got is sage and cream striped flannel and the coordinating color is a solid cream flannel. It's very pretty. I'm making a comforter, crib bumper, crib bed skirt and crib organizer. I'm going to pace myself. Tomorrow, I will begin the comforter. It's the easiest. I figure a few hours every Sunday until March 11th (when spring break starts and 10 days before baby due date-that's my goal!!) will put me in good timing to get it all done. ::crossing fingers::

wow, that's very ambitious but really impressive! The set sounds beautiful and good for either a boy or a girl. I admire your brother and SIL for not finding out what they're having. I think it would make me crazy, the waiting!!
