After everything, I'm still here.

A visitor!!!

My mom visited me yesterday! =) She called Friday afternoon to ask if it was okay to come up Saturday morning and stay until Sunday. OF COURSE IT IS!!!!!!! My mom hadn't visited me at my house in a year and 3 weeks. But who's counting??

So, she drove up here and Ayana had to share her bed with mom. =) Our dog is so spoiled. The guest room bed is our dog's bed when we don't have company. But, she is not allowed to sleep up there overnight. If she was to have any accidents, I'd be so upset if she went on the newly revealed hardwood floor. I still need to get it refinished. But, that takes money. I do not have the money for that project now. It's decent enough to keep it exposed the way it is.

But anyways, my mom visited!! =) We went out to lunch at Dave & Buster's, came home, watched tv and played Pop Culture Trivial Pursuit DVD. Of course, hubby won. But it was fun. We then went out for breakfast at Apple Annie's. YUMMY!!!!! Love that place!!! Love it even more now that it went totally smoke free!!! Don't have to walk through the annoying cloud of cigarette smoke to get to the non-smoking section anymore!! =) =)

So, that's the scoop. I need to kick up my motivation into gear. I've been slacking.
