Ahh....Saturday...

Well, nothing quite like a lazy Saturday. Or so I thought it would be until hubby made plans. at least, tomorrow can be my lazy Sunday.

Today, we go and buy a new matress!!! Whoopee!!! Tell ya, the fun that married couples have is incredible! When the mattress that has been owned by hubby for at least 8 years starts looking like a mountain range in the middle of the bed, I think it's past the time when we should've bought a new one! Seriously, if you look at the bed from the foot of the bed, you can clearly see the indentation of where each of us sleeps, and then the peak in the middle where no one sleeps. I had to point that out to him after complaining about my lower back everyday for at least a month now. We have a bed upstairs in the guest room that is firm, so I slept there last night. Which helped a lot!!!! The only problem is that it's warm up there, and I don't like the fan blowing directly on me. So, I directed it away in hopes that it would just bounce off the wall and bring air to me in an indirect sort of way. I didn't feel much. It must have gone in the other direction. So, the heat in the room, and my sinuses which are killing me, bothered my sleep last night. But, at least it was not in addition to a painful back. =)

Then, tonight we have dinner at a friend's house. That'll be nice, and hopefully my head will feel better by then so I can enjoy the company.

Tomorrow, hubby is doing his thing. So, I get to do my thing. But I haven't figured out what that will be yet. I thought about cleaning and laundry, which I've been putting off for a week now since starting Harry Potter book #6. (I'm not going to give any spoilers, but to those who haven't read it yet and plan to, if you're the emotional type, have kleenex on hand for the last 3 chapters!!!) It's a VERY good book. I love the whole series though. It is so neat to have the character grow in the story instead of being one age forever and ever. That really allows you to see him grow up and face new challenges. I love that it really works your imagination. I had a weird dream about the characters last night. Although, if I told you, it would somewhat be considered a spoiler since it involves the actions of a certain character in #6.

Anyways, I think Sunday will be cleaning day, but I won't kill myself over it. I'll do what I feel like doing and make the rest up as I go along. I'd love to have a nice day outside with a breeze in the air and a reasonable temperature so I can tackle the weeds and overgrown branches. They are bugging me!! I don't wake up early enough to take advantage of the lower temps in the morning.
