Apples, cider, doughnuts and doggies

We took our first family trip to the cider mill this season. Ayana LOVED all the new scents and people and other doggies. I wish I remembered my camera. Oh well. Next time.

It has a nice hiking trail on the grounds and it has pony rides and a little petting zoo. They also sell pumpkins, apples and FUDGE!!!! I got a slab of fudge, and it's already more than half gone. I've just been snacking on it like nobody's business!!!

It was so cute watching Ayana get so excited about sniffing everywhere and she got lots of compliments from people and kids. =) We walked further down the trail than most people do, so we came across a little snake. Or should I say, Ayana found a snake. I wouldn't let her follow it.

I remember taking Doogie to the cider mill and how she would get so tired halfway down the trail, and we would turn around. My sweet puppy. I couldn't blame her. She was 14 years old. Of course she got tired easily. I'm glad I had the camera one of the times we took her. We have a couple of the pictures in frames on display. I miss my girl.
