After everything, I'm still here.

How cool is today??

Not temperature-wise, of course, but life-wise!!

So, I finish my math class a little before 2. I check my phone for any missed calls and see that I received one. I figure it must be my hubby because I called him earlier. Well, it wasn't. It was a former co-worker of mine letting me know that my old supervisor wants me back for a temp. project for the West Coast office for about 8-10 days. So, I'm so geeked!! I call my old supervisor back (Not age-old, but old as in "Former") and get the details. I let her know I have classes and that I wouldn't be able to work everyday. She said they'll take whatever help I'm able to give. So, I'm so there!!!!! =)

So, I call my hubby to let him know, and I get his voice mail. No biggie. He must be busy. Then I head for home and find out why he didn't answer my call. He left his phone at home!!! So, I'm sitting here on pins and needles aching to tell him my good news and I can't. So, I had to wait till he was able to call me from another phone.

So, I'm happy to say that I report for duty tomorrow!!! =) Go me!! Go Karma!! Go world!!!

Now, I know it's not permanent, but it's a nice ease into the working world this semester. Nice to go back to an environment you know, instead of the unknown of substitute teaching. Which, btw, I was going to call tomorrow and see if they needed me yet. Since it's the beginning of the school year, the need is down. But, the lady at the placement agency said that it should pick up by next month when people start getting sick. Go sickies!!! =) So, it's really hit-or-miss the first month or so.

Well, that's my life update for today. =)
